Learn to design and create a real estate development project model for investment and decision making 


Registration is limited to 20 students.  Thank you to The Marquee Group for helping make this course available. The full-day in-class course reviews real estate project finance concepts and focuses on the skills required to design and create a model to help finance professionals evaluate a real estate development investment. 

Participants will take an in-depth look at a case study for a mixed use development project and examine concepts including model design, logic, project timing and various phases and various financing structures. Intermediate and advanced Excel tools along with helpful keyboard shortcuts also will be covered throughout the course.

NOTE: Each participant is responsible for bringing a laptop computer to the classroom, including a working copy of Excel.

Note to members who selected the discounted five-course option with registration for the March 21 Leasing Course: Given that the discounted fee was an incentive for attending all five courses, only a partial refund is available if cancellation from this course is your first cancellation in the series of courses. Please also inquire with Brynne Wrigley, brynne@torontonaiop.org, about the no-charge option to defer participation to the next cycle of courses in 2020.
