Understand the major legal issues surrounding a lease transaction


Registration is limited to 45 students. This full-day in-class course is designed to familiarize commercial real estate professionals and other attendees with major legal issues surrounding a CRE lease transaction. You will gain a greater knowledge of the many technical aspects of a lease, the interests of the landlord and the tenant, and a sound understanding of the practical post-lease documentation and obligations of which both landlords and tenants must be aware.

Note to members who selected the discounted five-course option with registration for the March 21 Leasing Course: Given that the discounted fee was an incentive for attending all five courses, refunds are not available for your first cancellation in the series of courses. If cancelling for this course, please inquire with Brynne Wrigley, brynne@torontonaiop.org, about the no-charge option to defer participation to the next cycle of courses in 2020.
